Warriors in need...

Fellow Warriors have expressed interest in donating to a fund to support Obie Kimmel, son of Ken Kimmel, a beloved fellow Warrior who recently passed away. Please donate below and the Alumni Association will see that his guardians get it.

-Rest in Peace, Ken. We miss you.

NOTE FROM ALUMNI ASSOCIATION PRESIDENT: Contributors to the Obie fund will receive a complimentary membership for the year. -Thank you!

A Tribute to Ken

Many of you have expressed interest in locating local Warriors, not just in your immediate area, but also when you are on the road and have time to meet up. The State Groups are a GREAT way to establish local classmates. Another resource is the Google Map we created. You must have a gmail account in order to make changes to your entry, but anyone can view and use. Thanks to Jim Nuttall, Class of '65!

Awesome T- shirt NOW available! See link below!

The T-shirt is $17 and the fundraiser runs until October 8th.

I am sending the proceeds from the sale of this T-shirt the Wiesbaden Spouses Club and Bavaria Community Spouses Club (Grafenwoehr/Vilseck) to help with their scholarship programs. Both organizations provide scholarships to high school seniors and military spouses in their communities. (If anyone is wondering why Grafenwoehr/Vilseck too, it's because that's where I live now).

So, go forth and share! And Danke Schön for all your feedback and positive comments!  designed by Shirley Radabaugh '90

2014 South Dakota State University Hall of Fame class announced

Courtesy: SDSU Sports Info
Release: 08/21/2014 10:50:27

Smith was a dominant performer in the lower weights for the Jackrabbit wrestling program, winning individual North Central Conference titles each of his three years of varsity eligibility and earning All-America recognition twice. A Sioux Falls native, Smith won the NCC’s 123-pound title as a sophomore in 1967, then won the 130-pound title during both his junior and senior seasons. He earned the first of his two All-America awards with a third-place finish at the national meet.
Smith was named Co-South Dakota College Athlete of the Year in 1968 after posting a then-school record for wins in a season as he posted a 25-2 record and finished as NCAA College Division runner-up at 130 pounds. Wrestling against several Division I opponents, Smith completed a perfect season in dual competition with a 16-0 mark and racked up 56 team points in the process. He also ended his career as the Jackrabbits’ career leader for wins with a 58-11-2 record, good for an .831 winning percentage.

This site is PAID FOR by our official HH Arnold Alumni Association.

The Association is THE REASON we don't have a big, fat 'Donate Now' tab in your face at every turn! The Association has done SO MUCH to help Warriors find each other and get back in touch.

Let's do our part and toss some love in the pot. You can take advantage of our new options by becoming a Life Member in one fell swoop or you can get one, two or three years of membership to help out. Whichever, please do so today! This site is run BY Warriors FOR Warriors!

If only...

Is your birthday missing?

Our sincerest apologies, if your birthday doesn't register on the site. There are only two reasons I can think of that this has happened...

1) The format of the date you entered is off, causing the system to skip over it (this would have been before ning spiffed the profile layout up)...

2) The Ning server was feeling particularly human and goofed.

In any case, please do let us know so we can post it to the activity feed, or here...
